Are your woods eco-friendly?
Protecting our planet's forests and woodlands is essential, which is why we exclusively source our wood from sustainably managed, responsibly cared-for woodlands.

We focus on using fast-growing tree species such as Maple, Cherry, and Walnut, which are known for their sustainability. These trees are harvested at a rate that matches their growth cycle, ensuring that the forests they come from remain healthy and continually replenished.

What is the thickness of your woods?
Our veneered MDF sheets have a thickness of 4mm.

What are the characteristics of each type of wood?
Our Maple wood is the lightest in colour, with a light golden appearance. Our cherry wood is next, with a slight reddish hue.

Maple and Cherry have the lightest grains and smoothest textures.

Our Walnut wood is the darkest of all of the woods and has the heaviest, deepest grain.

Since wood is a natural material, each piece will vary slightly in colour, grain, and texture, adding a unique touch to every project. We recommend ordering samples to ensure the wood matches your design expectations.

Can you assist with my wooden pin badge designs?
Absolutely! You can easily send us your artwork by using the 'Upload Artwork' button or by emailing your files to hello@enamelpinfactory.com, along with any specific instructions like pin back placement. We'll set up your designs and provide a digital proof for your review.

Is it possible to have more than one pin back on a badge?
Yes, you can add multiple pin backs to your badge. Just duplicate the pin back layer in your design file, arrange them as you wish, and merge the layers when you're done. If you need assistance, we're here to help!

How many different designs can I include in a single order?
You have the option to select up to 10 unique designs per order.

How do I upload multiple designs?
To upload several designs using our 'Upload Artwork' button, first group your files into a .zip folder. Simply select all your designs, right-click, then go to > Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder. This zipped folder can then be uploaded using the 'Upload Artwork' button. Alternatively, you can email multiple designs directly to us at hello@enamelpinfactory.com.

What is the turnaround time for your wooden pin badges?

Can you explain what a locking pin back is?
A locking pin back is designed to keep your metal pin badges securely fastened. It features a mechanism that locks in place, ensuring the pin stays attached unless you intentionally release it.

Are your backing cards printed on one or both sides?
We can print your backing cards either single or double-sided. If your artwork includes designs for both sides, we'll print accordingly. If not, we'll produce them as single-sided.

Are your packaging materials environmentally friendly?
Yes, we’re committed to eco-friendly practices. Our backing cards are made from recycled card stock, and the clear display bags are made from vegetable starch, making them both biodegradable and compostable.

How much time do I have to submit my artwork?
You have a 2-week window from your order date to provide us with your artwork.

Can I reorder previous designs?
Absolutely! We store your artwork for up to 6 months to make reordering simple and consistent. Just reference your previous order number(s), and we’ll retrieve your artwork from our files.
