Custom Hard Enamel Pin Badges
Our hard enamel pins come as standard with 1 design, up to 5 colours, 1 cutout on the mould and one pin fixing on the reverse. Use the variants available to add extra colours, glitters, additional cutouts, back stamps, your choice of fixings and even branded backing cards, and create your very own custom hard enamel pins.
Our hard enamel pins are created by applying multiple layers of enamel paint to the recessed areas of the pin. This is repeated until the paint sits level with the raised metal walls and the pin surface becomes smooth and flat. We then set the paint at a high temperature and polish it until glossy, creating a high-quality and hard-wearing finish.
Hard enamel pins are more expensive than soft enamel pins, however, they are longer-lasting and ideal for those looking to create durable merchandise or pin collections.

I need a rush order. Can you help me?
Unfortunately, due to the manufacturing processes involved in making enamel pins, we cannot speed up the process and therefore cannot guarantee a hard deadline. We will, of course, try our very best to help you out, just drop us an email to hello@enamelpinfactory.com before ordering and we’ll try our best to meet your deadlines.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Our minimum order quantity for enamel pins is 50 units. However, due to the nature of manufacturing involved in making enamel pins, it's much more cost effective to order larger quantities. The more you order, the cheaper they get.
What’s the difference between hard enamel and soft enamel?
Hard and soft enamel pins differ mainly in their finish and texture. Hard enamel pins have a smooth, polished surface as the enamel is layered and polished down to be level with the metal edges, giving them a flat and shiny appearance. They are highly durable and have a refined, jewellery-like look.
In contrast, soft enamel pins feature a textured surface where the enamel sits slightly lower than the raised metal edges, creating a dimensional effect. This design approach gives them a more detailed, vibrant appearance.
While soft enamel pins are often more affordable, hard enamel pins are known for their durability and sleek finish.
What kind of artwork can I submit?
We accept the following file formats: PSD, Ai, PDF, JPEG, TIFF, EPS.
Please be aware that we work with CMYK colour profiles. If you submit RGB artwork, this will be converted to CMYK and some colour differences will be apparent.
Can I get my logo on the back of my pin?
Yes. We fully recommend that you have a back stamp to protect yourself and your intellectual property. A back stamp will add an additional cost to your bill but it’s totally worth it.
Can I use the same back stamp on several designs?
The simple answer is yes if the size works on each design. This also applies to future designs.
I’m struggling with my artwork, can you guys help me out?
We offer a free artwork set up service for all of our manufacturing services. Please send us an email with your artwork to hello@enamelpinfactory.com and we’ll be happy to take a look.
Will my pins come with backing cards?
Your pins will come individually bagged as standard. If you would like backing cards, please add them to your order using the available options.
What kind of clutch will my pin have?

What is a locking pin back?
Locking pin backs add a layer of security to your pin badges. Rubber clutches and butterfly clutches can slip off the back of your pins, resulting in a lost pin. Our locking pin backs push on and secure your pins tightly, only being released when the small flange on the pin back is squeezed causing the pin to release.
How complex can my mold be?
Our enamel pin badges come with up to 1 cut out (intricate cut) on your design as standard. If you pin design has more than one cut out, please add this option using the 'Cut Outs' variant.
How many designs can I have in a pack?
Each pack includes one design as standard. You cannot have more than one design for each pack of pins, this includes different colourways of the same design.
Can I trust you with my art?
Our customers intellectual property is extremely important to us. Please rest assured that your artwork, designs and ideas will be treat with the highest level of respect and confidence.
